| Tasting Notes |
This Chardonnay displays a bouquet of apricot and ripe peaches combined with elegant vanilla and cedar flavours from 20 months barrel ageing. The full bodied richness of the wine is complemented by tropical fruit flavours and powerful butterscotch. Excellent to drink now, this wine has been crafted to age gracefully and will reward further with short term cellaring with confidence under the screw cap closure. |
| Winemakers Notes |
Barrel Ageing: 26% in new oak, 37% in one year old and 37% in four year old French oak barriques on light yeast lees for 20 months. Approximately 1/3 of the wine has gone through malolactic fermentation. |
| Food Match: |
An excellent match with a range of white meats and fish plus creamy pasta dishes |
| Cellaring: |
Excellent to drink now, this wine has been crafted to age gracefully and will reward further with short term cellaring.
